Trying this new skin out and trying to type with
one hand since my dog is laying on my other hand...

Just read The Scarlet Pimpernel and it was the
best swashbuckling romance i've ever read.
Hitchcock-worthy ending. A breath of fresh
air amid all those silly new books about
wizards, vampires, werewolves, and witches.
Seriously, why has our culture become so
fixated on the dark side of fantasy? *shudder*
what ever happened to fairies and elves and
Narnia, LOTR, and Peter Pan?

Ah well, like C.S. Lewis said: One day you
will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.

obviously our culture hasn't reached that
point yet, and is wallowing in immaturity...
old fiction is the best, even just adventure,
not necessarily fantasy. Three Musketeers,
Ivanhoe, Scarlet Pimpernel, Robin Hood,
King Arthur, A Christmas Carol, that's
the good stuff.

I love finding flubs in disney movies, but I have a divine respect for their animated classics. I have a black toy poodle named Cosette (Well, her full name is Cosetta Enrica Valentina Lucia Giovanna Mercedes Musetta Ambrosa di Napoli Hoyt) and she is the most spazziest cutest lil furball in the world!!!! I love writing stories, listening to movie scores, and imagining things. I am also rather fond of walking.
